Project: ID Experts' MIDAS (2013)
Matt worked with ID Experts and multiple teams of third-party contractors to refine, design and build out MIDAS, a healthcare fraud and identity theft alert application.
When ID Experts’ received an initial set of branding and product designs from a third-party design agency, they found the designs did not entirely match their vision of the product. The work lacked an understanding of the underlying systems’ structures and requirements (front end technology, backend needs, APIs, etc.), and did not provide an intuitive, streamlined experience that accounted for MIDAS' likely usage: users would engage with the system only occasionally to review medical coverage claims.
Matt reviewed the third-party-created materials, made suggestions for UX improvements and adaptations, and created additional workflows and designs. After review and approval by a large, cross-departmental, cross-discipline team of ID Experts' stakeholders, Matt created HTML/CSS for those designs and worked with developers at AnalyticsWare (a third party employed by ID Experts) to build out and test the application.
